Biz QuickTips Three Variables To Increase Revenues There are three variables you can manipulate to increase revenues: the number of clients/customers/patients you have; the number of billable units you sell; (hours, months, procedures, products, services, etc.) your fees/prices. With a few pieces of basic information, you can start to consider which makes sense to pursue first. Here are a few questions to ask: do you have room for more clients? have you sold the maximum number of billable units to current clients? are your fees/prices what they should be? Also a factor in your revenues is how long a client stays with you. Are clients leaving before they have utilized all the services and products that would be of benefit to them? If so, why? Studies have shown that it costs up to five times more to get a new client than it does to keep and sell to the one you have. Only you can make the decision as to which variable to address first.
